Wine and Harvest Festival

The festival offers something for everyone including tastings and tours for wine enthusiasts; a 5k, grape stomping competition, kayak race, and other contests for the active members of your family; four stages of entertainment for music-lovers; and carnival rides, fireworks, and the parade for all ages. This is one weekend you won't want to miss.

Halloween Harvest Weekend #1 (Scarecrow Craft)
Starts: 09/25/2026 - Ends: 09/26/2026
Fall camping brings more memories as we enjoy cooler temperatures and our three Harvest Halloween weekends. During Week #1, guests are encouraged to participate in a site decorating contest! Fun for all ages, a craft time will involve building your own scarecrow that you can enjoy for the weekend and even take home with you to enjoy throughout the fall. (Please note: In order to make this a FREE activity, guest are asked to bring their own clothes and a pillow case for the scarecrow head, Straw and frame materials will be provided at no cost.) Later in the day, everyone is encouraged to wear fun costumes to participate in "trailer-treating" at night.

Farmer's Market (Saturdays) - St. Joseph

The freshness of this event once again returns to delight your senses. Every Saturday (9am-2pm), there is a farmer's market at Lake Bluff Park, St. Joseph, located between Broad and Pleasant Streets. Enjoy locally grown jams, honey, hearth-bread baked breads and fine pastries, perennials, cut flowers, organic vegetables and so much more!

Father's Day

Dad's will have a special weekend surrounded by those who gave them the most important job they'll ever have. Build special memories enjoying all of our campground amenities. The weekend includes a Fishing Derby and our famous Grab-n-Go pancakes on Sunday to benefit Care Camps Foundation!

America 250 Celebration

Camping at Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday for Fourth of July sounds like an incredible way to celebrate America's 250th birthday! Imagine spending the holiday surrounded by friends and family, enjoying the great outdoors and all the amenities the campground has to offer. Planned activities include our Barrel Train ride, Tie-Dye shirts, patriot bike parade and a grab 'n go pancakes to support Care Camps Foundation
Enjoy swimming in Lake Michigan or our spacious pool during the day and in the evening, you could gather around a campfire for some s'mores and storytelling, or perhaps even enjoy a fireworks display in one of our neighboring communities. And, since you're so close to Lake Michigan, you might even be able to catch a fireworks show over the water!

Opening Weekend Spring Fling

We have missed you! So, come celebrate the end of your cabin fever and allow our team to welcome you as one of the first guests of the 2026 camping season! Managers Richard and Jennifer Burlingham will personally welcome you with FREE coffee on Saturday morning. All guests will also receive a supply of free kindling at every site, from the sticks and twigs you'll find in your fire pit or around your site. No need to forage in the woods, please. Discounted, non-peak season rates will apply.

Halloween Harvest Weekend #2 (Pumpkin Painting)
Starts: 10/02/2026 - Ends: 10/03/2026
Fall camping brings more memories as we enjoy cooler temperatures, and our popular three Halloween Harvest Weekends. During Week #2, guests are encouraged to participate in a site decorating contest! Fun for all ages will be had with a pumpkin painting craft time for the whole family. Let the fun continue as you take them home with you to enjoy throughout the fall. (Please note: All supplies are provided and a nominal fee will be charged for this craft.) Later in the day, everyone is encouraged to wear fun costumes to participate in a campground parade with "trailer-treating" at night.

National Blueberry Festival - South Haven

The National Blueberry Festival is one of the tastiest you'll find! Organizers hold this annual event on the second weekend of August each year, and is one of the country's oldest continuously-running fruit festivals! We're proud of South Haven's tremendous blueberry crop, and the important industry it represents in our area. Van Buren County is the Nation's most prolific producer of highbush blueberries, and Michigan as a whole produces upward of 100 million pounds each year. Growers, packers, u-picks, specialty equipment, agri-tourism, cottage industry and more convene right here in Southwest Michigan, and it's all thanks to the delicious and healthy king of fruits- the almighty blueberry!

Christmas in July

Christmas comes to town during the month of July in what is always a joyous weekend. Time with families will be memorable as campers are encouraged to decorate their sites with lights and decorations. Also enjoy craft time, activities and even a visit from our own Santa Clause!

Halloween Harvest Weekend #3 (Annual Chili Cook-Off)
Starts: 10/09/2026 - Ends: 10/10/2026
Fall camping brings more memories as we enjoy cooler temperatures. Guests are encouraged to prepare their famous chili recipes for this annual charity event to benefit Care Camps Foundation. Participants and hungry campers are invited to enjoy our sixth annual Chili Cook-off competition, where we will announce our grand total of monies raised for the season. Guests are also encouraged to decorate their camp sites for the site decorating contest, and wear fun costumes to participate in "trailer-treating" at night.

Sunday Worship Service

Join us Sunday mornings during the summer at the start of the week for a informal time of reflection and encouragement. This non-denominational worship includes a time of singing and a short message that we hope uplifts your spirit. Service will be held at the Gazebo starting at 9:30am (event will take place in Club House if weather is inclement). Everyone is welcome!

Labor Day Weekend

Celebrate all your hard work and the final weekend before the fall schedule kicks back into session full-swing. We will fire up the griddle for Grab-n-Go pancakes on Sunday to support Care Camps Foundation. During the weekend, kids will enjoy crafts, activities and barrel train rides. The weekend will end with our annual glow parade around the campground and a fun dance party as we say good-bye to summer.

Berrien County Youth Fair

The Berrien County Youth Fair is an annual event. Some of the exhibits include baked goods, photography, crafts, woodworking, horticulture and art. Livestock also compete for ribbons and are auctioned at the end of the week. There's even a pavilion dedicated to the miracle of life where visitors can observe pregnant and newborn animals all week. Carnival rides, fair food and entertainment add the traditional part of this family-fun experience!

Glad-Peach Festival - Coloma

This is an annual celebration of the gladiolus flowers and peaches, which are both grown locally. The festival provides family fun for all ages. Events include live music on two stages, a classic car show parade. and a beautiful aerial fireworks display.

Care Camps Big Weekend

Camp for a cause and help raise money for KOA's official charity, Care Camps Foundation. Celebrating over 40 years of bringing the joy, hope and healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer, Care Camps Foundation provides a camping experience at more than 132 specialized oncology camps across North America. When guests stay with us on May 8-9, 2026, the Coloma/St/ Joseph KOA Holiday will donate 50% of the second night to support Care Camps Foundation. Blossom Time Parade - Michigan's Great Southwest

Southwestern Michigan is a treat for your senses in the spring. All across our countryside verdant orchards and vineyards explode in pastel blossoms and sweet scents. Our markets reopen, with trays and baskets of ready-to-plant flowers in a brilliant array of colors. It's a great time to take a wine tour, or pick up jars of tantalizing jams and jellies, bunches of just-snapped asparagus, creamy chocolates and palate-pleasing wines and cheeses along the way. You can even participate in Blossom Time Festival activities, such as the Grand Floral Parade. This event is Michigan's oldest and largest multi-community festival.

Red Bud MX National Championship

Known as the best dirt on earth, each year. the world of motocross comes to Red Bud MX, a US motocross race track located in Buchanan, Michigan, USA. The track is located less than 30 minutes south of our campground and is surrounded by agricultural farming fields in this rural community. It is home to one of the largest motocross tracks in the Midwest, and is favorite to many pro riders.

Enjoy parades, Dutch dance, shows and events along with literally millions of tulips blooming around the City of Holland, Michigan.
